What in Vera Duckworth’s name is going on here eh? Manchester gay pride – that’s what. Yesterday stars of long-running soap Coronation Street took to a float at the festival to celebrate the programme’s 50th anniversary.
Top marks have to go to Beverly Callard and Shobna Gulatis who went all out for the event with their outfits (although we’re not sure how happy we felt when Bev squeezed her boobs like that) unfortunately though the same can’t be said for Jenny McAlpine and Vicky Binns (Fizz and Mollie) who didn’t seem to make much of an effort with their ensembles at all.
